Cold Process Soap - Spirulina, Lavender and Patchouli

Cold process soap (CPS) is the most traditional soap making methods. This technique involves combining oils and butters with a lye solution, which triggers a natural chemical reaction called saponification. During this process, the oils transform into soap and naturally produce glycerine, a skin-loving humectant.

In commercial soap, the glycerine is stripped out and sold as a separate product.  This is why commercial bar soaps are so drying on the skin.  This is not the case with CPS.  

We have five oils in almost all of our CPS.  They are vegan, palm and cruelty free and eco-friendly. This one has Patchouli and Lavender Essential Oils and Spirulina Powder added for colour.

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Olive Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Water, Macadamia Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oils, Spirulina.
